Programme is developed with an emphasis on financial literacy and work readiness; providing a strong secondary emphasis on mathematics, reading and writing skills. In this club environment, students learn fundamental business and economic concepts, explore career interests and opportunities, and develop work-readiness skills.
JA COMPANY PROGRAMME
The JA Company Program is an exciting hands-on program that allows students the opportunity to experience the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship by starting and operating an after-school business. Students are the main decision makers as they collaborate with professional volunteer consultants to solve real business challenges and develop leadership skills. From raising money to start their venture, through production and sales to liquidating their company, students participate in the full life cycle of a business.

JA Economics for Success provides practical information about personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student’s skills, interests, and values. It also demonstrates the economic benefits of staying in school. Six required, volunteer-led activities.
